Tinnitus, a common health condition affecting more than 50 million Americans and severely debilitating to 2 million, is the perception of hearing a noise in one or both ears when there is no external noise present, often described as a ringing, buzzing, clicking, whistling or chirping. While there is no cure, there are methods an audiologist can provide that will help mask the effects of tinnitus, which Dr. Baker plans to cover extensively during her talk.<\/p>\n

Dr. Baker has been practicing audiology for more than 25 years. She is a board certified, California state licensed audiologist and specializes in evaluating and treating hearing health problems such as hearing loss and tinnitus.
