Decibel Hearing Services has been around for well over a decade and Kelley and I have been audiologists for many years. Hearing aid manufacturers come up with “new and improved” devices every year and while they are certainly improved in many cases, those improvements are not always significant technological advances.

But as your audiologists, we feel we have to share with you a new hearing device, the Oticon Opn™, that is not only improved, but represents a big jump forward in technological advancement. Exceptionally fast sound processing and Oticon’s BrainHearing™ technology ensure you won’t have to work as hard to hear so you’ll feel less stress and be more likely to join in conversations. It works better with multiple speakers by letting you shift your focus from one speaker to another, even in complex listening environments. Noise reduction not only

separates speech from noise, but covers a 360-degree area around you, instead of primarily behind you as with older technology.

There are other benefits, as well; if you are interested, we’ll be happy to sit down with you and go over all the advantages of using these devices.

The bottom line, of course, is how well do they work? We are including some testimonials from people we have fit with the Opn aids so you know how well these devices perform in real life situations.

Patient Reviews:

Over the last 30 years, I’ve had almost 10 different hearing aids. All of them have made incremental improvements, but my new Oticon OPN 1 has made a significant improvement to my hearing and understanding conversations. It’s difficult to actually measure the degree of improvement but easy to see the significant gains in my ability to interact within a group.
